newsletter_certainteedAs you may know, many of us adHOMErs are dog lovers and our office is frequently visited by the office pooch, Sadie. So when coming up with one of our next big promotions for our client, CertainTeed Insulation, we had our 4-legged friends in mind.

We created a promotion that would raise brand awareness for their insulation products in Canada while showcasing the product benefits at the same time. Working with CertainTeed brand ambassadors and celebrity contractors, Kate Campbell and Damon Bennett, we leveraged their celebrity status to elevate the brand through a national online promotion called “Get Into the Doghouse” with CertainTeed Insulation. We challenged our two expert carpenters to design and build fully insulated doghouses that will be awarded to two lucky Canadians this fall.

The contest launched October 1st with an in-store promotion at Lowe’s locations across Canada and an online Facebook contest campaign. Contest participants are directed to a CertainTeed landing page to learn more about the various insulation and vapour retarder products available. They are then encouraged to vote for their favourite doghouse (Campbell VS. Bennett) for a chance to win one of the doghouses and a $2,500 gift card from Lowe’s.
