Spirit of York is a small distillery in a big urban centre that specializes in the making of premium spirits. Their team takes pride in their refined process and exacting standards.

When they were ready to take a new line of unique products to market, they looked to us to create just the right brand.

Highlight the alchemy and art behind the product. In getting to know how they work and what they value most, it became clear to us that integrity is behind everything they do. They are precise about the science of their product and at the same time, they are creative in crafting original products.

ELEMENTS OF ALCHEMY

We created a brand that, in a word, reflects their process and their values. The word “DISTL” speaks to their passion in distilling spirits, the way we’ve spelled it reflects their commitment to keeping things pure and simple, as even the word is distilled down to its very essence. Nothing extra required or added.

RTD PACKAGING

With ready-to-drink beverages exploding in popularity, we jumped into the market with four unique flavours. Our packaging focused on the mixology, breaking down each recipe by its distinct elemental ingredients to create taste appeal.

THE RESULTS

DISTL won a Gold Medal for their vodka in a Tasting Competition at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The RTD is poised to enter the market at The Distillery District in Toronto with a comprehensive brand launch to follow.
