Our Road to the Nationals

Our agency had the opportunity to support a local 15-year-old girls competitive volleyball team from the Forest City Volleyball Club. Teams across the country entered videos to compete for the chance to win their way into the 2012 Canadian Nationals. We created a video with original music that showcased each individual team member and why the team deserved to win the contest.

Over 25 entries were submitted into the first-ever Canadian Open video contest.  The Volleyball Canada judge panel narrowed down the top five (5) finalists and then turned the voting back to the volleyball community to select the winner via social media. The top three teams were awarded prizes and after several thousand votes, the Forest City Green 15U Girls team won third place and a set of 12 Tachikara volleyballs.

The team was thrilled with their video entry and we received our very own volleyball signed by the entire team, along with the following note:

I just want to extend a heartfelt “Thank You!” to Mary-Ellen, Serge, and the agency team for the very generous donation of their time and efforts in preparing our team video.

When we are old and decrepit (like I am now ☺)  the scores and results and medal counts fade away, and what we truly treasure in our memories is the fun we had together, and the gratitude for the special people that helped us achieve our goals along the way.

You are truly special people and the FCVC 15U Girls Green team is very grateful to you!!!

All the best,

Susan
